Vintage Gloves

Last month, I picked up vintage leather gloves from a "Doctor's Wives" community rummage sale. A couple of them are sewn by hand, and the leather is so delicate. They are beautiful. My favorite pair is pale pink and made in France.

I'm not sure how old they are,
but can imagine how different things were back when
they were part of everyday fashion.

  1. I love vintage gloves but I can never find them at thrift shops or rummage sales! I'm guessing people snatch them up quickly! These are beautiful!! =)

  2. It was still in vogue to where gloves and hats when I was in high school. What a different time it was. If a girl wanted to wear jeans you had to buy a pair of guys jeans! Wheat color jeans were the thing then with loafers. You couldn't find jeans otherwise. So funny to think how many there are now.
Your vintage gloves are gorgeous and were very expensive back then. They came from far away places like Spain, Italy or France and felt like a second skin on your hands. So luxurious!

    Have a great Spring! Sherry
